Dear Saint Anthony Family and Friends, As the Thanksgiving season rapidly approaches and our thoughts turn to family, friends and all that we hold dear, I write to thank you. Thank you for volunteering your time and energy, thank you for living our mission of faith, family, knowledge and service on a daily basis and thank you for sending your children to St. Anthony Catholic each day. I also write at this time to ask for your donation to the St. Anthony Catholic School Annual Fund. In its second year, this fund is an essential source of funds for the school?s programs. Each year we will ask all members of the St. Anthony community to consider a gift to the Annual Fund so we can ensure that our students receive the best possible education. Why do we ask for contributions when families already pay tuition? While tuition does cover a significant portion of the cost of a St. Anthony education for each child, it does not cover all expenses and it does not provide stability to look towards the future. Our goal is to build a strong school annual fund that can take the burden off of the parish and help pave the way for the future of our school. Your participation, in the form of a tax-deductible gift, is very important to us. My goal as the principal is to have 100% participation from the parents and staff of St. Anthony Catholic School. The amount of your gift is not as important as 100% participation. I want to show the Diocese of Charleston and the city of Florence that we are a true school community with a common goal of excellence.
